Born from a dedication to preserving and celebrating Indonesian culture, the interior product brand founded by Sylviana Putri proudly announces the launch of its latest collections, "ROH" and "Laras," on Saturday (February 22, 2025) in Jakarta. Rémén's debut collection is a blend of traditional Indonesian design and contemporary aesthetics, making it not only functional but also artistically valuable with deep meaning.

"Rémén is determined to preserve and introduce the beauty of Indonesia's local values to the world. Our goal is not only to bring these designs to the public but also to take them to the global market, so they can be enjoyed by international audiences. We hope this collection can serve as a bridge for the world to understand and appreciate the richness of Indonesian culture," explained Sylvi.

The launch of this collection marks an important milestone in Rémén's journey to strengthen Indonesia's cultural presence on the international stage. With a spirit of pride in Indonesia’s heritage, the designs honor tradition while remaining relevant to modern trends.

For example, the "ROH" table lamp product tells the story of the dualism of the Chinese community’s belief in the meaning of coins. For the living, coins are often considered an omen of bad luck, but for the spirits of the deceased, coins are seen as an essential element for their journey to eternity.

Meanwhile, the "Laras" product tells the legend or origin of the city of Surabaya. The harmony between Sura, the shark representing the ruler of the sea, and Baya, the crocodile, is expressed by Sylvi through a decorative chess-like display piece.

By featuring products that highlight cultural values, Rémén contributes to promoting Indonesian tourism, encouraging more people to explore and understand this rich cultural heritage.

In addition to the launch of the Rémén brand, the event was also supported by several other local pride brands from Indonesia, such as Cultivia, Havilla Tea, Rumah Atsiri, In The Bag Coffee, Sumayeliving, Rosyposy Living, Ardefabrics, Jahit.menjahit.id, Pyo Jewelry, Dassein Design Bureau, and Nareswari.
